The 77-year-old Chipping Norton resident has take out the Volunteer of the Year award for her continued work with aged residents.
The volunteer said she was thrilled to receive the award for doing something that she loves.
"I have volunteered for 18 years and I'm still going — it's all for them," she said.
"I love to make them happy; when I see them laughing and happy my heart is happy as well.
"I will continue to go there because I care."
Her efforts were recognised when she was presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award by Liverpool Resource Centre president Donna Moore at a special luncheon recently.
She was nominated for her daily outstanding volunteer work, her care and commitment and a positive attitude that's known for keeping the residents' spirits high.
