Police seize 400 cannabis plants in Telopea

Police say they have seized nearly 400 cannabis plants from a property in Telopea and charged a man with multiple drug offences. 

The charges were laid after police searched a home on Burke Street just before 9am on Wednesday, September 3 and allegedly found methadone, amphetamine, cannabis seeds, cash and 382 cannabis plants.

A 54-year-old man was charged with three counts of possess prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug commercial quantity, cultivate prohibited plant, supply prohibited drug, possession of equipment for the administration of a prohibited drug and goods in custody.

The man was given conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday, October 1.
