Two girls approached in Cabramatta

Police are appealing for information after two teenage girls were followed at Cabramatta last week.

About 3.40pm on Thursday, two girls, aged 14 and 15, were walking east along Bolivia Street when they passed a man sitting against a brick wall on the corner of Myall Street.

The pair began walking faster when they noticed the man walking close behind them.

Concerned by the man’s actions, the girls turned on to Acacia Street and walked towards Cabramatta Police Station, where they noticed the man still following them.

As the teenagers approached the police station, they looked back to see the man had turned away and was walking south on Acacia Street.

The incident was reported to the girls’ school the next day, where police were contacted.

The man is described as being of Asian or Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 35 to 40 years old, with a chubby build and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and grey cargo pants.

Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
