Eagles fly high

Bonnyrigg White Eagles are starting to hit their straps in the National Premier League's NSW Men's Elite 1 competition registering back-to-back wins with a hard fought 1-0 win against Sydney Olympic.

Veteran Chris Tadrosse's free kick in the first half was enough to secure all three points as the White Eagles kept their sheet clean for the sixth time in their past seven games.

In other games, Marconi gave up a 1-0 lead to lose to St George 2-1, while Sydney United 58 FC were routed 4-0 by the Sutherland Sharks. It was bad week all round for United who were eliminated from the Waratah Cup last week.
