Man robbed between Liverpool and Fairfield train stations

Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed while travelling on a train between Liverpool and Fairfield train stations.

The 34-year-old victim was travelling on the train about 11.10pm yesterday, May 13 , when two males approached him.

The victim was threatened and the offenders took a credit card and an amount of cash before getting off the train at Fairfield train station.

The victim also got off the train and contacted police.

Fairfield police are investigating the incident and would like to speak to two men.

The first man is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, with a medium build, a beard and wearing a green jumper.

The second man is described as having dark skin, of medium build and also wearing a jumper.
