Parramatta police station open day

Parramatta police will hold an open day on June 1, 10am-3pm. Displays include historic and new highway patrol vehicles, the crime prevention van, the mounted police, memorabilia and much more.

Activities will include an interactive speed detection race for children using police radar.

Children can dress up as police officers and be entertained by Constable Charlie the Police Penguin and SES mascot Patty the Platypus.

Restricted areas of the police station, such as the cells, will also be open for guided tours.

Rotary Parramatta will be operating the barbecue so the snags will be sizzling.

Parramatta police station is at 95 Marsden Street, Parramatta.
