Police arrest man over lewd act in car in Cabramatta

A man has been charged with committing an act of indecency following an alleged incident in Cabramatta yesterday.

About 10.15am, Monday, March 17, two women were walking along Gilmore Street when they saw a man allegedly performing a lewd act in a car.

Officers said he was in a grey Nissan Pulsar which was parked outside a primary school.

The women, both aged 36, walked away; however, the man allegedly followed them in his car before making inappropriate gestures towards them.

Cabramatta police attended and started their investigation.

Following inquiries, officers attended a home on Prospect Road, Canley Vale where they arrested a man.

The 20-year-old was taken to Cabramatta police station where he was charged with act of indecency and wilful and obscene exposure.

He was given conditional bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on April 9.
