Former Sydney Kings Basketball captain will mentor Bonnyrigg youth

Former Sydney Kings basketball captain and two-time Olympian Jason Smith will mentor youth at the inaugural Bonnyrigg 3 on 3 Basketball competition on Saturday at Bonnyrigg Basketball courts, from 10.30am until 3pm. Entry is free. The courts are at the corner of Elizabeth Drive and Smithfield Road, Bonnyrigg, next to the skate park. Players from five-year-olds to adults are welcome to play and there are $700 in prizes for all participants provided by Amart.

Lions thrash Manly

Fairfield Liverpool first grade cricket team thrashed Manly by 72 runs at Rosedale Oval on Saturday. The Lions made 7 (dec)-214 with opener Guy Seymour making 100 not out. They dismissed Manly for 142. The Lions' final of the season is on Saturday and Sunday against Parramatta at Old Kings Oval.
