STUDENTS at Fairvale High School feel that the sky is now the limit thanks to the University of Technology Sydney's (UTS) Sky High program.
A small group of students was selected to take part in the program, which is sponsored by global financial organisation IMC.
The program aimed to provide opportunities to build students' aspirations and future goals.
The school's head welfare teacher, Kathryn Efthymiades, said the Sky High project, which started in 2012, targeted students in years 7 and 8 and would continue this year.
"Students were offered a range of experiences attending excursions and workshops to places of social and cultural interest," Ms Efthymiades said.
"Students [had] opportunities that developed their confidence and social skills, allowed them to learn new skills and consider future directions by exposing them to a wide range of fields of study from the arts, environment, history, science, sport, health and fitness."
