JAMIE-LEE Worsnop won't forget last year in a hurry.

And judging by what she did in 2013 this year looks another boom year for the young lawn bowler.

The St Johns Park Bowling Club player is rated one of the best junior players in NSW by selectors and officials.

In 2013, the 16-year-old represented NSW at the Australian under-18s titles in Perth.

Jamie-Lee, a Cecil Hills High School year 12 student, won gold and silver medals at these titles. In the pairs event, partnering Dawn Hayman, she won gold and then a silver in the fours team.

Other highlights were playing for City against Country under-18s and also winning the NSW Women's Indoor event.

Following the City team's win over Country, Jamie-Lee was named in the Bowls NSW 2014 state under-18s squad.

And the crowning glory for the young queen of the greens, was when named 2013 Bowls NSW junior female player of the year.

Jamie-Lee said her coach Sharyn Renshaw and the love and support of her family are the foundations in her life.
