Cabramatta High School students and teachers celebrated peace and the work and commitment of this year’s Sydney Peace Prize winner Cynthia Maung on Friday with representatives from 20 other schools. Cynthia Maung  was a special guest on the day. Students dressed in various national costumes and told the  Champion  what the day meant to them.

■ Cindy Nguyen:

"It's where all cultures come together and everyone is united."

■ Nhu Mai:

"It brings every culture together and is a day different cultures can interact. "

■ Sanja Cupic:

"It's a day to celebrate multiculturalism and everyone coming together."

■ Austin Vuong:

"It is the celebration of peace and a multicultural country. I liked the different costumes and the performances."

■ Charity Bosco:

"It's a day where everyone dresses up in their national clothes. It's a peaceful day."
