DANCING fans line up, put your boots on and scoot down to Parramatta RSL Club.
Teacher Julie Talbot has been teaching line dancing for almost three decades.
She said the course that begins in February was a perfect opportunity for those who have always wanted to give the activity a go.
"It's a fun workout that's good for the body, mind and spirit," she said.
"After a few dance routines you work up a sweat but everyone can still exercise at their own level.
"It keep me slim, it keeps me happy and I get to meet different people.
"I hear people say they have two left feet and would be no good, but for me that's a challenge to show them they can do it.
"Plus it's exercise that you can do with a glass of bubbly in your hand."
Regular class member Jan Totman said there were a number of health benefits associated with the activity.
"It helps keep the Alzheimer's away because you are constantly thinking all the time," she said.
Fellow member Toni Gollob said the classes also helped her conquer her anxiety.
"I had agoraphobia but then I went to do line dancing and loved it so much I kept coming back," she said.
The group take regular road and overseas trips and next year they will head to Hawaii.
Talbot took up the role of teacher almost 30 years ago after her former teacher decided to leave.
