The opportunity

EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors. The Resource Manager is responsible for driving an environment that enables our people to connect to the experiences which enrich their lives and careers. The Resource Mananger is a workforce planning and resource management specialist who activiates the day to day operaitons to ensure we maximise business performance and deliver on our talent commitment through proactive management of our talent pool. This is obtained by:

  • Allocating the right people, to the right role, at the right time
  • Supporting project demand prioritisation and supply augmentation
  • Identifying and providing insight in regards to workforce planning and skills, capability and trends
  • Using your specialist knowledge and relationships to ensure we maximise productivity and develop our talent through their on the job experience

Your Key Responsibilities
 

  • Partner with our leaders and stakeholders to build and manage key relationships across accounts/sectors/talent pools to develop and direct an experience management agenda
  • Develop individual capailitiy and personal brand through coaching, empowering our people and connecting them to the right networks or career experiences
  • Manage talent pool and the bench, available capacity, understand capabilities and proactiviely identify opportunities for available resources
  • Ensure seamless connectivity betvween pursuit teams and our available talent. Srategic understanding of future capability needs and address gaps
  • Drive behaviour change using data insights, and foster agile and continuous improvement
  • Ensure a reliable and accurate business forecast as input into key business decisions on supply and demand

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • 3-4 years; experience with workplace relations activities, talent development, resource management and/or supply & demand management within professional services or B2B environments
  • Ability to understand the business and learn the unique skills, needs, desires and goals of our people
  • Ability to find the right opportunities and connections to create diverse, inclusive and high-performing teams.
  • Able to optimize business performance by advocating solutions, providing insights and managing expectations in pursuit of increasing utilization and employee engagement.
  • Exceptional client service with a strong desire to build exceptional, high-performing teams
  • Refined relationship and stakeholder management skills at all levels, including an ability to faciliate and negotiate discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrating personal leadership and having presence, vitality and agility
