Your new company

Our client is a Project Management Consultancy that provides infrastructure services to predominately rail and civil clients and operators across Victoria. Providing project management, development, technical advice, constructibility and engineering management.

Their upper management, directors and owners are second to none in regards to experience, with a wealth of knowledge and contacts across the Victorian Infrastructure industry. With contacts and relationships with all the major rail and road organisations, this is an opportunity to work and learn from some of the best.

Your new role

You will be working under an experienced Senior Project Manager or Associate Director, and servicing a number of different clients across various rail projects, assisting clients, operators or contractors. You will be a consultant PM and using your construction knowledge to provide consulting services. You will no longer be involved in those onsite frustrations- you are a consultant!

What you'll need to succeed
All candidates will be degree qualified in engineering and have
3- 10 years experience working for ideally a PM consultancy, otherwise construction project management experience.
Rail systems experience- track, signals, civils etc.
A recognised Victorian organisation. Understand the rail industry, exposure to operators and contractors.
Procurement of consultants services
Design management
Project experience $30m+
Ideally have experience in feasibility studies, writing business cases, producing constructibility reports
Communication and writing skills, and stakeholder interaction must be second to none as the role will be heavily client facing.

Please not candidates with consultancy experience will be preferred.

What you'll get in return
Salaries range between $80k- $140k+ super initially. This is a long term career move. You can have an extremely successful and well paying career, but also experience all the benefits of not working for a contractor- less hours and your weekends back! However initially there will be some significant investment in you in regards to training and development.
