Production Supervisor

Our Client:

Our client a global leader in oilfield technology solutions, chemistry programs and services, drilling technologies, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the oil and gas industry.

The Role

For this role we are looking for an applicant who can directly supervise, support the production activities with the manufacturing and production of our clients product, which will assist the company in achieving planned production levels and ultimately fulfil customer expectations.As well as effectively manage all relationships, internal and external that facilitate the efficient operation of production.

Duties

• Directly supervise the assemble, manufacture, test or tear down and rebuild of products
• Identify, report and problem solve issues arising with the design, or components by following the correct internal processes for reporting issues, faults or non-conformities.
• Actively supervise and implement the company's continuous improvement culture by raising, actioning, and closing out CI's or MOC's that will improve efficiencies in the plant.
• Supervise and manage the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniques to improve efficiencies and eliminate waste.
• Supervise quality control or manuals, procedures/work instructions, risk assessments or other documentation as required.
• Perform end of line quality inspections and product release.

Essentials

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Five or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fully competent in all tasks and responsibilities for this position
