About Our Client

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Managing end to end payroll in a timely and accurate manner (weekly, fortnightly and monthly)
• Managing all pay related queries and ensuring timely reply
• Ensuring that practices and procedures in payroll comply with all statutory requirements and any applicable industrial awards
• Prepare end of month and end of financial year reports (Prepare Journals, Pivot Tables etc)
• Calculate leave entitlements, salary variances, update employee details
• Setting up new starters and managing termination payments
• Other adhoc administrative duties as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years' experience in end-to-end Payroll with previous experience in the public sector looked upon favourably. They will be highly organised, work proficiently in a high-volume environment, have strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively as part of a team.
