Maintenance Carpenter

Your new company
Working in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs within a large facility you will be working with a team of 4 at one of Melbourne's reputable maintenance contractors.

Your new role
Required to carry out all-round carpentry maintenance and repairs to building facades, doors, furniture, some minor painting and patching and other related ad-hoc maintenance. Time management and clear communication is essential for this role.

What you'll need to succeed
Working with commercial spaces you will be well presented, a great communicator, reliable and have the ability to operate logging software for all maintenance reporting. This role will commence on a contract basis offering a solid 40 hours a week Monday – Friday. To be considered for shortlisting and invited to interview you must hold the following:

• Cert III Carpentry or higher
• White card
• Working with Children's Check / Police check (or willing to obtain)
• Driver's Licence
• Full working rights to work full time ongoing in Australia

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a full time 40-hour contract via Hays. Based on performance there may be a permanent opportunity available. You will be offered an hourly rate of $46ph + Superannuation + full uniform provided.
