Full job description

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Lease Administrator to join our client's reputable Lease Management team in Sydney CBD on a permanent basis. As a Lease Administrator, you will maintain a high level of service delivery to achieve both internal and external customer satisfaction, assist in managing the timely completion of retail leasing transactions and contribute to best practice lease management. This role can be a significant step towards achieving a long and successful career in the property industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing internal documentation for new lease deals, lease renewals, surrenders, assignments and legislative notices within required timeframes.
  • Effectively instruct the retail leasing panel firm for all types of retail leasing matters.
  • Monitor progress of leasing matters and proactively follow up with customers as required to ensure all pre-trade requirements are met in a timely manner (i.e., bank guarantees and certificates of currency of insurance).
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries relating to leasing matters in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collate, review and process payments of fit out contributions and incentives.
  • Provide assistance to the Senior Lease Administrator as required in all aspects of the leasing process.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with the business activities within Lease Management.
  • Ensure ethical action in all transactions and interactions with stakeholders.

Key attributes:

  • High degree of organization, self-motivation and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar contract administration or lease management role.
  • Exposure to lease management systems (SAP and/or Salesforce desirable).
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Client service focused, with an ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong team player.

This role offers hybrid working arrangement of in office/work from home as well as flexible working hours and a supportive team with excellent management and training provided.
