Full job description

Your new company
This State Government department is seeking several Enterprise Risk Managers to join them on a temporary basis for 6 months.

Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s enterprise risk management frameworks and strategies are relevant to current and emerging risks. The roles available vary with three positions being more focused on risk partnering and stakeholder engagement. Duties for these positions include working across various Divisions and Agencies of the department to understand their risk profiles, provide training and run workshops to update, build and improve the risk information while linking this information across the organisation to provide insight, gaps and opportunities. You will provide advice and strategies for the business in managing detailed operational risks. There are further roles available that will be more technical risk performance focused. For these positions, the organisation are seeking individuals able to complete risk data analytics and enhance and develop aggregated risk reporting across various Divisions and Agencies.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have exceptional stakeholder skills and be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Along with excellent communication skills you’ll be a motivated member of the team with good analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to a high degree of initiative and flexibility.

What you'll get in return
This role provides a chance for you to assist this state government department throughout a pivotal period of change in a 6-month assignment. You will be working with an experienced and motivated government team where your responsibilities will be remunerated at $650 - $700 per day, depending on experience. This team are currently working from home full time, however the option to work from an office will be available to you.
