This company is looking to hire a Technical Engineering Manager, who would bring new ideas and energy to the team.

Your new role

In your new role as an Engineering Manager you will be supporting internal and external clients by developing and implementing strategies consistent with a vision of technical excellence, innovation and superior service to ensure continued growth and profitability. You will be leading and managing the Engineering Team, by couching and mentoring them. Also, you will be the key person in recruiting and selecting qualified candidates for any vacancies. Main responsibilities lie in three categories: people management, technical engineering support and reporting. Successful candidate is not afraid of confrontation but sees this as an opportunity to start a dialog and implement change in the team.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Degree level qualification Engineering
• 8+ years’ experience managing a team within a mechanical engineering or similar sector (preferable)
• 5+ years of design experience in a mechanical engineering sector (essential)
• Expert knowledge of rotating machinery is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and planning skills
• Financial and budgetary management skills
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Strong people focus
• Current Passport and Driver’s License is must.
