The opportunity
At Employsure we are passionate about the workplace relations of Australia’s SMEs across all industries. In this role you will be front and centre, supporting business owners to navigate complex Employment Relations matters.

This role is a vital part of our service and will see you work within a client facing environment resolving queries across a broad range of topics and industries. Using your knowledge to provide accurate Employee Relations input into a range of areas such as:

  • Assisting with the interpretation of Enterprise Agreements
  • Assisting clients in managing processes of Enterprise Agreement bargaining/negotiations
  • Reviewing Award Coverage changes as they are referred by the advice team
  • Assisting and guiding clients through transfers of business matters, including advice surrounding the transfer of entitlements
  • Providing wage-related advice on a range of industrial relations instruments including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
  • Interpreting modern award terms and delivering advice in non-technical terms
  • Managing grievance investigation

Desirable Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the Modern Award system and National Employment Standards
  • Experience in negotiation of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
  • Excellent communication skills are essential both verbal and written
  • Transfer of Business & Employee Entitlements
  • Long Service Leave Act interpretation
  • Experience with interpreting legislation across Australia
