Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to be part of an exciting team working in the construction and commercial sectors. With big projects in Melbourne gaining momentum our client/s are preparing and have sought a highly talented and motivated individual to join a growing team.

Your new company

Our client/s have Commercial construction projects gaining momentum in Melbourne’s CBD and inner suburbs that are Tier 1 and Tier 2 sites. Due to growth, we are looking for an Electrical Estimator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Your new role

You will be working within an experienced team towards delivering successful tenders on medium-large scale electrical projects across Metropolitan Melbourne. As a part of this growing team, you will have fruitful career progression opportunities and full support throughout your role.

What you'll need to succeed

A highly energetic and enthusiastic attitude, willingness to grow with demonstrated competence and experience in the Commercial electrical industry as an Electrical Estimator.

• Relevant qualifications and Tertiary experience
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Estimator in the electrical construction and commercial industries
• Knowledge of Material Resource Planning systems (MRP)
• Strong proficiency in interpreting and subsequent actioning of various types of structural or architectural drawings
• The identification and assessment of tender risks
• Completion of pricing schedules
• Development of Construction Schedules that align to eliminate costs
• Other relevant skills necessary for the competencies demanded by this role
