Doors Estimator

Your new company
A family run company, having over 30 years of experience in the Doors Industry, are looking to add an experienced Estimator to help manage their strong pipeline of work. Specialising in High End Residential and Semi-Commercial doors; this company is passionate about delivering a high quality product.

Your new role
As part of this company, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and coordinating tenders
• Cost Planning
• Review, develop and approve tender lists
• Vetting of subcontractor and supplier prices
• Develop final estimates
• Preparation of tender forms, submissions and letters
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in the Doors Industry is essential, with background knowledge on door and window profiles is essential. You will have experience in Estimation in the Windows and Doors Industry. A hard working, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

You will be able to organise and follow through with plans from estimating to process to take off to submittal submission and orders to installations of work. Communicate with project team, vendors and the Director so that everyone understands the plan so that everyone understands the plan through material orders, scheduled delivery; installation and completion.

Exposure to specific business knowledge of the doors industry will really carry you with this role, specific knowledge of estimating software is also advantageous.
