Champion photographer Simon Bennett strolls the streets of Cabramatta, dives into a rubbish problem in Ingleburn and gives a glimpse of how he edits photographs in the latest episode of his weekly video podcast, Life of Si.
Also in Ep 2, we capture life on the road with a trip down the Hume Highway and meet Michael Booth – a Titanic enthusiast.
The Harrington Park resident has spent a lifetime gathering knowledge and artifacts about the famous ship, which sank in the Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912.
Viewers can actually see a watch which stopped from a person in the water when the Titanic sank.
His coat was purchased in Belfast – where the Titanic was made – with shoulder and sleeve elements ordered from India and buttons, each costing $20, bought from the American company which originally made the buttons for the Titanic crew.
“It’s cool the people you meet out on jobs – every day is a different experience,” Bennett said.
Bennett finishes with a stop at Cabramatta for Lunar New Year fireworks.
