Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car in St Johns Park last night.
About 11.30pm (Saturday, March 3), emergency services were called to Gumdale Avenue, after reports a man had been hit by a car.
Police were told a group of men were walking down the street when one of the men reached out and struck a car travelling down the road.
The vehicle then reversed and hit the man before leaving the area. The car was last seen turning into Bundara Crescent.
A 22-year-old man was transported to Liverpool Hospital with a minor head injury.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to speak with anyone who may have information.
