Police investigate fire at Lansvale

Police are investigating a large fire in Lansvale last night.

About 9.20pm (Wednesday, February 14), emergency services were called to Lansvale Reserve between Henry Lawson Drive and Knight Street, Lansvale.

Fire & Rescue NSW arrived at the scene to find approximately three hectares of bushland alight.

The fire was contained, however the blaze reignited a number of times.

About 11.30pm, the fire was extinguished.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command established a crime scene.

Investigations into the fire, including whether there are any suspicious circumstances, are continuing.
