He has played more than 400 games and scored more than 10,000 runs, but Anthony Clark still keeps managing to get the job done for the Fairfield Liverpool Lions.

Mixing his time between playing and coaching this season, Clark (120) smashed his second century of the season against North Sydney to help the Lions reach 282. In reply, the home team are 0-22. Clarks’ innings featured 14 boundaries and three sixes to take his season tally to 312 runs at an average of 44.

The opener combined with Luke Ohrynowsky (27) and the in-form Jeremy Cashman (47) for valuable middle-order partnerships.

Meanwhile, the Lions Poidevin-Gray Shield team have qualified for the semi finals after upsetting minor premiers Manly in the quarter finals on Sunday.

Four wickets each to Liam Hatcher and Harmon Sandhu helped the Lions defend their total of 99.
