How far will you have to go to watch Disney's Moana on the big screen?

Not far at all for Fairfield residents, with the Bonnyrigg Youth Council hosting the inaugural Bonnyrigg Under the Stars event at Bunker Park on Friday, February 9.

The free event has been organised in response to community feedback.

“We have been consulting with local youth, to find out what events and activities they would like to see in the area and one of the things they told us is that they would like an outdoor movie night,” said Mandy Bui from the Bonnyrigg Youth Council.

“We are looking forward to bringing people together, singing along to the Moana songs and just seeing all of the children having a fun time.

“As a special treat, we are also offering free popcorn and ice cream to the first 200 people to arrive on the night, so make sure you arrive early.”

  • Supported by Newleaf Communities (managed by SGCH), Fairfield Council and Landcom, the event will start at 6.30pm. The movie will start at 8pm.
