A new community event is going to light up the streets of Fairfield with the inaugural Fairfield Live Art, Music and Entertainment (FLAME) Festival to be held on April 6.

The free festival, which will be held across several venues in Fairfield City Centre, will showcase performers from Fairfield and western Sydney and made possible through funding from Create NSW on behalf of the NSW State Government, in partnership with the Live Music Office.

Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone said the FLAME Festival is an example of council’s continued support of local culture, performers and businesses.

The free community event will be held across several participating Fairfield venues including The Crescent.
