A man and woman will face court on Monday after they allegedly kidnapped and assaulted a woman in the early hours of Sunday.
Police said the alleged victim, 68, was driven across the north of Sydney against her will before being dropped at a home in Mosman.
The incident started when the victim was allegedly assaulted in a bedroom at her house in Cherrybrook by a 37-year-old woman.
Police believe they are all known to each other.
The younger woman and a 39-year-old man allegedly took the victim against her will to a home in Naremburn.
Sometime later, she was taken to a home in Mosman and told to go inside.
Once inside, she alerted the resident who called the police.
The man and woman left before police arrived.
The victim was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with a possible fractured rib and lacerations to her face and body.
Just before 5pm on Sunday, the pair were arrested at a home in Naremburn and taken the Chatswood police station.
They have been charged with take and detain for advantage, and causing grievous bodily harm.
Both were refused bail and will appear at Hornsby Local Court on Monday.
