Establishing friend neighbourhoods is catching on in the fast-growing South-West masterplanned community, New Breeze at Bardia where several buyers are buying land and inviting friends to join them.

Campbelltown resident Sofiuzzaman bought land at New Breeze and then introduced nine of his closest friends who also bought land. All the friends have bought close to each other.

“I’d been eyeing off the Bardia area for two years,” Sofi said. “After several unsuccessful attempts to secure land with other developers at Edmondson Park I was finally successful at New Breeze.

“The region has great appeal with significant growth plans and major infrastructure investment. I knew it had the potential to be a great place for my family as well as excellent investment. Two land parcels were bought in quick succession – one as an investment and the other as an owner-occupier.”

“Soon after buying I told friends about the new estate and expanding region. They were instantly sold on the idea and bought nine land parcels themselves. The idea of living close to each other was very appealing.

“New Breeze is next door to Bardia Public School which is where my children will go, the proposed second airport at Badgerys Creek will be close and the estate is within a short walk to Edmondson Park station and the future Edmondson Park Town Centre.  There are also plenty of open spaces, barbecue areas and playgrounds.

“Next year I expect to move in with my wife Sharmin and two young daughters Tanisha and Arissa, We’re looking forward to sharing our neighbourhood with close friends.”

New Breeze sales manager Jesse Johnson said: “Sofi’s story is not uncommon at New Breeze. We now have several friend neighbourhoods scattered throughout the community. Current buyers have become our best-selling tool. They love the area and are telling family and friends. Word-of-mouth is the most powerful form of advertising. Creating a friendly and cohesive community is our focus.”

New Breeze property developer Dahua Group Australia recently launched stage 3 of the community, comprising more than 700 land lots and aptly named Parkside. A variety of lot sizes from 200 to 638 square metres are available with prices starting from $299,000 to $628,000.

Dahua also released a series of three- and four-bed architecturally designed townhouses to suit a range of buyers. It’s the closest house release to the future Edmondson Park Town Centre and starts at $702,000. An exclusive range of packages is available at Meridian Homes and Mutual Homes.

New Breeze will comprise 1280 new homes with a range of housing types. The development will include large parks and playgrounds, a sports oval, bike and cycle paths and 40 hectares of open spaces for recreational activities.
