Police are appealing for public assistance following two indecent assaults and an attempted armed robbery in a park in Bonnyrigg over the past month.

About 3.30pm on Sunday, October 8, police have been told a 14-year-old girl was approached a man on a bicycle in a reserve in Lalich Avenue, Bonnyrigg, before he indecently assaulted her.

About 5pm on Saturday, November 4, a 48-year-old woman was cycling through a park near Hamel Road, Mount Pritchard, when she was indecently assaulted by a man on a bicycle.

In the same reserve, a man armed with a knife threatened a 14-year-old boy before fleeing on a bicycle just after 8pm on Saturday, November 4.

No one was injured in all of these incidents.

Police attached to Fairfield Local Area Command launched an investigation.
