GALLERY, VIDEO: Westfields Sports advance to NSW GIO Schoolboy Cup semi finals

Defending champions Westfields Sports High School have booked a date with Endeavour Sports High School in the NSW GIO Schoolboys Cup semi finals after staging a remarkable comeback to defeat Patrician Brothers' College, Blacktown on Wednesday.

Down 18-0 at half time, the Fairfield West school rallied to score five unanswered tries in the second half to run out winners 26-18.

Led by man of the match Rua Ngatikaura, Westfields fixed their handling errors which plagued their opening 30 minutes and put in a polished second half which was capped with tries to second rowers Matthew Doorey and Jordan Main.

Next up for the 2016 champions is Endeavour Sports High School on Wednesday who edged Bass High 18-14 in the first of four quarter finals staged at Campbelltown Stadium.

St Gregory's College, Campbelltown will play Hills Sports High School in the other semi final.
