Prairiewood man charged after car crashes into parked vehicles

A Prairiewood driver, 20, was arrested after crashing his car into several vehicles at Rockdale on Sunday morning.

Just before 2.30am on Sunday police were called to Bay Street at Rockdale after he apparently lost control of his Nissan Pulsar and crashed into a Mitsubishi Lancer, a BMW and a Mazda CX9, which were all parked. St George officers attended and spoke to the driver who was the sole occupant of the Nissan.

He was arrested after returning a positive roadside breath test. He was a P driver and was taken to Kogarah police station where breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.107.

He was charged with driving with a mid-range PCA and his licence was suspended.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Sutherland court on August 29.
