Pal Buddhist School raises $141,337 at dinner

The money raised from the dinner will help Pal Buddhist School's vision to build a permanent home to provide better facilities for students.

Pal Buddhist School – the first Buddhist high school in Australia –raised $141,337 at their annual fundraising dinner recently.

More than 600 people attended the event at Golden Palace in Cabramatta, with the money raised to go  towards the expansion of the Canley Vale school.

One of the highlights of the evening as a speech by the spiritual adviser of the school Bhante Jason Chan.

The event was attended by Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone.
