Prairiewood Leisure Centre has finished third in the social campaign Let’s Move for a Better World.
The centre partnered with Technogym for the campaign with participants training for a good cause with a chance to donate technogym equipment to a non-profit organisation dependent on the amount of training.
The campaign saw participants collect MOVEs (Technogym’s unit of measure for movement) on Technogym equipment.
Prairiewood Leisure Centre came in third with more than 1.1 million MOVEs.
Aquafit in Campbelltown took out the top spot with the club’s members collecting more than 2.7 million MOVEs and donated $15,000 worth of Technogym equipment to their chosen recipient, local school St Patrick's College.
Fairfield and Cabravale Leisure Centres also took part in the challenge.
Worldwide, 782 clubs across 26 countries took part in the challenge and approximately 140,000 participants tracked their workouts on Technogym equipment.
