The new aptly named Club Spot website will provide a place where sports clubs can effectively run their organisation by having all the material in one convenient spot.

The best part it is: it is free.

Fairfield Council launched the online resource and training hub last week which will not only allow clubs to be run more effectively but minimise volunteer hours and the stress involved.

“Club Spot is a library of resources that includes training videos, checklists, templates and important documents such as job profiles that sports club volunteers can access for free,” Mayor Carbone said.

“The resources on Club Spot cover most of the challenges clubs face, such as raising funds, attracting sponsors and members, running events, applying for grants and much more.”

Club Spot members receive a monthly email with a checklist of tasks designed to coincide with the season from registration to collecting uniforms.

“These checklists will take the pressure away from club volunteers to remember everything that needs to be done and when,” Mayor Carbone said.
