The finalists are named for big night

Hundreds of Fairfield businesses will have great cause to celebrate this week after learning that they are among the finalists in this year’s Local Business Awards.

Finalists named.

Finalists named.

Finalists will be notified of their success in the coming days, before judging gets underway.

Independent and anonymous judges will visit each finalist and assess them based on criteria from a customer’s perspective including business presentation, products, value for money and customer service.

Finalists can also submit extra information about their business that are not obvious to a customer, such as staff training and motivation, community engagement and environmental sustainability.

“The local community’s response to this year’s awards launch has been incredible,” Precedent Productions Managing Director and Awards founder Steve Loe said.

“It just goes to show the enormous respect that they have for the small businesses that serve the Fairfield City community.
