Investigations are continuing into a three-vehicle accident that resulted in a car being flipped on its roof on the Hume Highway at Lansvale on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called out at about 2.25pm to an accident involving two cars and a truck.
As a result of the accident, a 70-year-old female driver from Sefton was taken to Liverpool Hospital for possible broken ribs.
A 52-year-old female driver from Lansvale was also taken to hospital after obtaining a laceration to her right elbow and foot and a sore left shoulder
The accident caused heavy delays in both directions.
