Fairfield Council are going ahead with planned upgrade works for roads, footpaths and kerbs and gutters – and they want your input to see if your street deserves an upgrade.
Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone urged residents to see if their street was included in the four-year program.
“If residents believe their road, kerb and gutter, and/or footpath is of a poor standard and needs attention they can check the program on Council’s website to see if it is already scheduled to be upgraded. If it isn’t on the list, let us know,” he said.
Residents can visit www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/worksprogram to view examples of the condition ratings (which range from “very poor” to “excellent” ) and to check if their street is included for upgrades.
Upgrades are based on condition ratings of “poor” and “very poor”.
