Cabramatta police are hoping to build relationships in the community – one cup of coffee at a time.
Cabramatta Local Area Command will host their first Coffee with a Cop event on February 23.
The event gives police officers and residents a chance to come together in an informal and neutral space to discuss community issues.
It also gives an opportunity for residents to ask questions and learn more about police work in the Cabramtta neighbourhood.
“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns or simply get to know our officers,” Cabramatta Local Area Commander, Detective Superintendent Wayne Murray said.
“These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”
