Shoppers at Greenway Plaza & Homemaker Greenway Centre will be greeted by a splash of colour thanks to the handy work of 25 Bossley Park High School students.

Students from the gifted and talented visual arts program created a mural between Greenway Plaza and Homemaker Greenway in Wetherill Park.

Under the tutelage of visual arts teacher Ty Tan, the students spent six weeks creating the five panels that hang in the walkway.

In that time the mural had to be drafted, approved, painted and framed.

“It’s great to see something we put so much work into on display in the community,” year 10 student Taylor Williams said. “We spent a lot of time after school making sure it was just right.”

The students were each presented with a $50 gift card last Thursday from centre management. “We are delighted to have enlisted the skill and enthusiasm of these students and teachers from Bossley Park High School, who each worked tirelessly to complete these masterpieces,” said centre manager, Robert Mandrovski.
