Sydney West Gymsports had a stellar run at the National Championships recently, with the overall results placing the club third in Australia.

The club sent twelve girls to compete in the Inaugural Aerobic Gymnastics Australian National Clubs Carnival, with each girl’s routine points allocated to the club.

The end results saw Sydney West Gymsports take out 15 gold, 9 silver, 3 bronze and 9 fourth-places.

It wasn’t just at the club championships that the club had a strong run.

At the Australian National Championships, Sydney West Gymsports girls took out 10 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.

Two girls were selected for the Aerobic Gymnastics National Squad.

The club’s golden run was completed by NSW State Championships earlier in the year, with 15 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze confirming the club’s consistent strength in gymsports.

Owner Belinda Vine said she was “very proud” of the club and the girls’ results as they were competing against larger clubs.
