More than 3000 people are expected at the Fairfield Showground on Saturday, September 24, for the Fairfield Police annual Open Day.

The Police and Community Engagement Day showcases the best and brightest of the NSW Police Force for the sixth year running.

Teams from Police Helicopter, Police Helicopter, Mounted Police, Dog Squad, Riot Squad, Highway Patrol cars and the Tactical Operations Unit will be there on the day to meet and greet the community.

Other emergency service providers will also be in attendance, including NSW Fire and Rescue, Rural Fire Service, NSW Ambulance and the SES.

TAFE NSW and other community organisations will also be at the event.

Sponsored by Fairfield City Council and CORE Community services, the event includes food, show bags and live entertainment.

Entry is free and there is plenty of parking at the Showground.
