Cabramatta has an additional 275 car park spaces as the Dutton Lane car park officially opens today.

The new car park has additional entry and exit points, and a car parking guidance system to provide real-time information on the number of park spaces available.

Mayor of Fairfield City Council Frank Carbone said the Dutton Lane car park was a great new asset for the community.

“The multi-storey car park provides 880 spaces overall in the Dutton Lane car park for use by shoppers,” Mayor Carbone said. “Existing parking within the vicinity of the town centre will increase to 3,293 spaces.”

The new car park is part of the larger Dutton Lane redevelopment, which will include new shops, offices and community spaces.

“This is all part of Council’s commitment to deliver more parking to the residents of Fairfield City to meet the needs and growth of our community,” Mayor Carbone said.

Funded and owned by Council, the new car park’s income will be invested back into community projects.
