VOCAL cords received some fine tuning last week at Edensor Park Public School's rehearsal for Double Trouble.
More than 250 pupils will take part in the musical at St Johns Park Bowling Club next Wednesday and Thursday.
The teachers will join the pupils on stage to portray some of the adult roles.
Monica Te, who's in year 6, is one of the main characters who rescue the teachers when they are in danger of being kidnapped.
"The musical is about two impostors who take over our school to get rid of the principal and create rock bands and surf schools for the kids," she said.
"Even though I wish we had a rock band and surfing classes in real life, at the same time I love our school just the way it is."
Johnathan Neth, who's also in year 6, says the whole experience has been "fun, especially because the whole school is getting involved".
The musical was written by the assistant principal, Georgia Moisidis.
