THE Hubertus Country Club at Luddenham is getting set for a German festival with preparations in full swing for this year's Oktoberfest.
The Adams Road club has put on this annual celebration for the past 10 years.
The club's four-day festival is filled with food, drinks, music and games.
Patrons can enjoy tap beer in steins, schnapps liqueurs and pork knuckle, sausages and sauerkraut.
There will be entertainment from a German oom-pah band as well as performances from dance groups on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
There will also be a variety of entertainment for children's activities and rides as well as raffles and market stalls.
Cecil Hills resident Carl Anderson, 22, enjoys the club's atmosphere.
"I went to the Oktoberfest in Germany in 2006 and the Oktoberfest here makes me feel like I'm back in Germany," he said. "I go almost every year with my mates because it makes a great night out. The event supplies a variety of new and different beers to try as well as the food."
Oktoberfest is suitable for all ages. Entry is $5 a person.
The event starts on Friday, September 28, at 6pm and will continue over the weekend through to Monday, October 1.
