Teenager robbed in Cabramatta

Police are appealing for public help following an aggravated robbery of a teenager in Cabramatta yesterday.

About 4.15pm, a 17-year-old teenager was waiting at the front of a hotel on Broomfield Street when he was approached by three men.

Police said the men told the teen to follow them to a car park at the back of the hotel, where they demanded money, his wallet and mobile phone before assaulting him.

A nearby witness approached the group, when the trio ran from the scene with cash.

The teenager suffered injuries to his head including a chipped tooth, cuts and bruising, and was treated by Ambulance Paramedics.

Cabramatta police were called and commenced inquiries.

As they continue their investigations, police would like to speak to three men who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

One is described as being of Asian in appearance, about 20 years old, 180 centimetres tall, with short black hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt at the time of the incident.

The second man is described as being Asian in appearance, about 20 years old and was seen wearing a white t-shirt with a dark bum-bag.

The third man is described as being Asian in appearance and about 20 years old.
