Girls get the the jump on state titles

FAIRFIELD West-based Sydney West Gymsports will have 10 representatives at the upcoming Aerobics National Championships.

Amber Bartle, Nikita Lloyd, Natasha Lloyd, Carissa Uno, Emily Krajovski, Tessa Manukonga, Tiana Yan, Amy Waters, Christie Wang and Nadia Wang will all compete at the Nationals in Brisbane in September.

It follows on from their success at the recent NSW State Championships where they walked away with numerous state titles.

The State Championship results included:

■Amber Bartle, 17: first individual

■Nikita Lloyd, 15: first individual, first AEROSkools.

■Emily Krajovski, 12: third individual.

■Carissa Uno, 13: first AEROSkools.

■Tessa Manukonga, 13: first individual.

■Christie Wang, 11: first AEROSkools, first multiples.

■Natasha Lloyd, 11: second multiples.

■Amy Waters, 9: first multiples, second individual.

■MacKenzie Manev, 7: first individual.

■Nadia Wang, 10: first AEROSkools, first multiples.

■Tiana Yan, 11: second multiples, third individual.

■Malibu Rasic, 8: first individual.

■Katarina Weber, 24: first multiple.

■Melanie Harriman, 28: first multiple.

■Amy Harriman, 31: first multiple.

Owner of Sydney West Gymsports, Belinda Vine said: "We are very proud of the amazing results achieved by our aerobics' programs recent results at the 2014 State Championships."

Most of the girls train three to four nights a week under coach Patsy Tatian.
