Armed robbery in Fairfield Heights

Police are appealing for public help following an armed robbery at a service station in Fairfield Heights last night.

About 11.50pm, a man entered the service station on The Boulevard and threatened the 26-year-old male attendant with a knife, demanding cash.

He was handed cash and the man was last seen running along Hamilton Road.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation, establishing a crime scene.

The man is described as being 165 to 175 centimetres tall, with a medium build.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey hooded jacket and dark grey pants.
